Dear livejournal readers,
I am in Delaware.
As you may know, this is where my dad and Linda live.
I went to my dad's office yesterday, where I did actual work. He sends out calendars to his clients each year and I was hired to put the calendars in bigass envelopes, put a return address label on each envelope, put an address label to the person it was being sent to on each one, and seal it. I started out using a wet paper towel instead of licking them but the towel kept drying out even after I would rewet it and I didn't feel like returning to the ladies' room to get more towels cos it's all the way down the hall and you need a key, lol. So I licked some of them. And promptly got a paper cut on my philtrum and lip. Anyway, after I got all of them done, I put some of them int he postage machine which is hard to do cos it has to line up correctly.
I must've done like 5 or 6 sheets, and each sheet had 30 labels. So however many people that equals. It wasn't hard but it was boring but I am getting paid for it :).

We had lunch with Donna aka God.
Then we walked to Market St to get a bus. It was raining like a mf. Then we had to get off a few blocks from where we had to go to run errands but guess what, I saw a little Asian salon and got a WAXING! GOD did I need it. She missed a little spot but most waxers miss that spot. Overall I was satisfied.

Then we took the train back to my dad's office.

We then took a train to Delaware. Of course it took forever, not only cos it's just a long ride anyway, but there were some problems with some antenna and long delays. And at one point they detach the last car so that took a while.
Finally we got to where we get off in Delaware.
We made some stops including this AWESOME store called Roses. It's like a discount store I mean it's cheaper than K-Mart I think. Omg it was so great. My head felt so cold when we were walking in the rain so I saw this little hat in a bin, it was knit and black with a sparkly skull and crossbones haha..soo corny but I had to have it, it was $3. Also I saw a cute sparkly pair of underwear..$2! Daddy got them for me. He is nice.

Then we got to the house. I went upstairs cos I was soo tired, cos see I'd just stayed up all night because I had to catch an 8:48 train an since I normally go to bed around that time or a few hours before, I figurd why sleep just a little? So I was exhausted as you can imagine. I didn't go right to sleep though, I was playing with my dad's phone, haha. I figured out how to send picture messages but Ray couldn't view them all :(. I read a bit, then slept for like an hour, then food was ready.

I had chicken which was awesome, stuffing, gravy, rice, broccoli, artichoke, and apple pie a la mode. Of course my dad had on Fox News while we ate hahaha. Ugh.
Then we opened presents. I got some cute really good smelling honey pomegranate bath stuff and candles and candle holders. I had been wanting to bring some candles to Ray's, and I always need body wash stuff so it was actually fortuitous. Is that the right word? And I got a Visa gift card. Which is reallly good cos my mom's birthday's tomorrow and now I can get her something.

I went to bed not long after everyone left. I slept on and off, but I had an upset stomach.

Here is something you may not want to know. Okay. When you take birth control, right, you have one week where you take no pills. During this week, you are sposed to bleed. I ran out of pills Tuesday. I thought I'd start bleeding by Thursday. Nothing. So you can imagine that when it got to be Friday night and no blood I was a little concerned. Because I read that even though it's a hormone withdrawal bleed and not a technical "period", still it is a sign that youare not pregnant. Somthing about hormones. If you were pregnant, the blood wouldn't happen. So. I'm thinking, "Dear God, please, please please. I cannot be pregnant. No fucking way." It would be SO unlikely, since I have taken my pills every day, at the same time, religiously. Never missd one. But there is that like .5% chance, you know? Nothing's infallible. So all day and night I kept praying.
Well, I got up to pee and lo and behold, BLOOD.
Thank you LORD.
I've never been so happy to bleed from an orifice.

I kept waking up to pee, talking to Ray on the phone, and going back to sleep. Though I was FREEZING, it was a good sleep. At least I wasn't sweating. Haha.

I got up early this morning and had some Beefaroni and a granola bar and read a little. Then went back to sleep.

Now I'm up but I may lie down again cos my stomach hurts. But I don't mind because when I get "a letter from Boston" my stomach usually hurts.

What else..I don't know. It sucked to not be able to give anyone anything for Christmas. But like I was BRIZZOKE you know?

So, basically, in summation:
*walking in rain sucks
*long train rides suck
*good food with family is good
*sleep is good
*I am not pregnant, which would've been highly improbable anyway, but don't any of you worry, I'd survive if I was. I don't know what i'd do but I'd handle it. But I'm not, and I don't intend to be anytime in the next few years.
*I now have no more unibrow.
*Donna M. is God and I hope to one day be as awesome as she.

So tonight I will either take a train from Claymont to Philly, then Philly to NE Philly, or, if I can convince him to, my dad may drive me all the way to PA.

Well, that's about it.

I think your dad and Linda appreciated your presence and didn't really expect presents.

What is "a letter from Boston"?? Never heard it referred to that way.

And why should your dad have to drive all the way home when the train is much less expensive and will not inconvenience him??? The train is fun. You can just veg out while you enjoy the view.

I didn't ask him to drive me home, he volunteered.

Gloria's chauffer service

Freddy1 I didn't want Gloria to have to take the train at Claymont at 844 pm saturday and arrive about 933 pm in Suburban station and then have to take a late r8 to ryers. It only took an extra 30 minutes each way to take Gloria from claymont to Ray's house. It was worth it to me to have piece of mind.
